Tell us more about yourself.

I am a student at Richmond Park Academy. I enjoy challenges and I always strive to push myself to the limit.I love reading books in my spare time, and I’m always keen to learn new things. After I leave school (and University) I would like to have a career in law, specifically a barrister. I have always found it so interesting and have had this passion from a young age. I find the role of a barrister more intriguing because they don’t have to specifically be in favour of one client.

With Orbit’s support, I’m looking to get my “foot on the ladder” in the Legal Profession and I’m keen to secure a part-time position in a law firm.

How can the business community support you?

I am actively looking for a part-time position in a law firm in London. Please get in touch!

Adam O’Sullivan

Adam joined Orbit’s Accelerator Programme in December 2018, and has established “Smoove”, which produces healthy smoothies delivered to office buildings. Adam, who is from Walworth Academy in the south London, is participating in the Entrepreneur Programme and is seeking support to grow his business.

Tell us more about yourself.

My name is Adam, and I come from South London. I have many interests which include basketball, football, and boxing, all of which hold a special place in my heart.

I am in the entrepreneur programme and I’ve always had an aspiration to be my own boss. My business is called Smoove, which aims to help consumers adopt a healthy diet.  I’ve seen the growth in the food and drinks industry and have decided to enter the market. My business will specialise in drinks for now such as smoothies and fruit punch however down the line I look to venture into the “health foods” segment of the market.

At Smoove, we specialise on delivering healthy drinks straight to your office. I am also looking to sell within my own community and promote the business through word of mouth and social media.

I am an avid reader and movie goer, and I enjoy biographies and anything that stimulates my imagination. I have a strong moral compass and I have a set of values that are very important to me. These include loyalty, respect, honour, and most importantly, perseverance, as I believe these are the traits that will get me to where I need to be.

I can’t talk about myself without thanking my family, who give me the drive, motivation, and encouragement to succeed.

How can the business community support you?

I’m looking to get in touch with office workers around London that would be interested in having Smoove Smothies delivered to their office.

Cerys, who is from Bo’ness Academy (outside Edinburgh), is participating in the Entrepreneur Programme and is seeking support to bring her video games business to reality.

Tell us more about yourself.

I really enjoy the world of film, I think it’s amazing the whole “lights. Camera. Action.” Magic is incredible. I also enjoy music as long as it’s being played on a record player.

I don’t really know where I’m from originally as my mum and I moved around a lot when she was a police officer in the Royal Airforce, for the time being we will just say I’m originally from St Andrews. I moved through to Glasgow when I was 6 to help support my grandparents, I stayed there until I was 13 then moved to Boness to help support my uncle after his wife passed…(I know depressing but don’t worry he’s okay and so is the rest of the family.)

During my time on Orbit’s Accelerator Programme, I would really like to sell products from my business across the globe. I have a passion for video games and I have identified a gap in the market that I’m ready to exploit. I have designed the games consoles by myself, and the products will allow gamers to escape from the trappings and limitations of consoles currently on the market.

How can the business community support you?

If the business community could give me any fresh ideas I’d greatly appreciate it. I’d really appreciate support with securing investment, and access to key personnel working in the UK’s gaming industry.

I’ve already secured my sponsors, but you can sponsor another Orbiteer to participate on Orbits Programme by clicking here.

Stephanie Fajinmi

Stephanie Fajinmi

Manchester Accelerator Programme.

Stephanie joined Orbit’s Accelerator Programme in March 2019, and is looking to establish her own gym-wear clothing line with Orbit’s support. Stephanie, who is from Connell Sixth Form College in the east of Manchester, is participating in the Entrepreneur Programme and is seeking support to bring her clothing brand to reality.

Tell us more about yourself.

My name is Stephanie Fajinmi, I’m 17 years old, I have many interests but my main passion is fitness. I love the outdoors, being active, playing football, badminton, and going to the gym. I like being active and staying fit. I have a goal of launching the next big gym/fitness clothing brand.

With Orbit’s support, I am opening up a clothing brand as I have spotted a gap in the market. In the age of Social Media, people are increasingly self-conscious about their looks and appearance. The clothes I’m designing are stylish, well fitted, and provide a much needed confidence boost to young men and women looking to go to the gym.

My products are designed to reduce the appearance of sweat stains when working out at the gym.  This product will reduce my customers from feeling uncomfortable while working out, and my business has a vision to help customers “feel good when working out”.

How can the business community support you?

I am currently looking for businesses to help me on my journey,  and sponsor me for £13.99 per month to cover the cost of my training. In return, Orbit provides each sponsor with monthly progress updates, and access to their “Life-Story” events which feature billionaire entrepreneurs and leading politicians. Sponsors can meet the VIP visitors in person and have their photographs taken. Sponsors also get access to Orbit’s online courses and workshops.

I’d also like advice from professionals in the clothing/fitness industry so that I can take this to market.

I am preparing a business plan, and finalising my product design and will be looking to raise seed funding in the coming months.

Wahab joined Orbit’s Accelerator Programme in March 2019, and is looking to establish his own investment management firm with Orbit’s support. Wahab, who is from Connell Sixth Form College in the east of Manchester, is participating in the Entrepreneur Programme and is seeking support to bring his investment business to reality.

Tell us more about yourself.

I am currently a student at Connell Sixth Form College with a passion for investing. I’ve been studying investment management for several years, and with Orbit’s support, I want to turn my passion into a profitable business.

I am looking to establish a company that invests in passive income producing assets. I’m not limited to EIS investments and I would rather stay away from the major stock markets. I’ve also looked at property investments.

My goal is to build a profitable business with a portfolio of investments (over £10,000 in assets) over the coming 12-months, and I’d reinvest the income into acquiring more assets.

How can the business community support you?

The business community can support me by offering investment advice, opportunities, and connections to investors. I’d be keen to attend networking events and meet new people.
